My Thousand Sons

Here it is a way overdue update of my Thousand Sons army for Warhammer 40,000 (40K).

For those of you that are new to my blogging efforts, my past coverage of this project can be found at Painting Thousand Sons.
That blog covers the first year of my project (yes I paint painfully slow).

These first two pictures are of the same group, just moved around a bit. I find it very hard to get all of the sons in one shot.

This trooper is going to count as my icon bearer for the unit. I didn't like the idea of converting a son to be holding some sort of flag, so I just ordered this archive bit.

I've done almost no work on the aspiring champion/ sorcerer for this unit. So there is the first work-in=progress shot.

Hi, I've been reading your blog for a while because I found it while searching for images of Thousand Sons. I just picked up Warhammer and I have to admit to being a fan of your painting style (your Sons are amazing). If there are any tips you could give me to help me pick up painting I'd really appreciate it, sorry if this is kinda weird :P.

As far as tips go, I'm a big fan of dramtic highlights (at least for this project).

Feel free to e-mail me (via the contact on my profile) and we can talk in more detail.
