For this set of pictures I built a light box:
Basically the four white walls reflect and diffuse the light so that there are no harsh shadows and the entire subject is lit. I think my only problem was that the lights weren't bright enough. I think the two lamps had 60 watt light bulbs in them when I should have at least had 100 watt bulbs. I had purchased some 100 watt bulbs some time ago, but they ended up getting used in various fixtures around the house.
Anyway, the set up of the box was pretty easy. It's basically a box made of recycled foam core board stuck together with some stick pins. I didn't put a back on it because the walls in my room are blue. This color is a good backdrop for photographing minis, so I just place the box against he wall. I don't have space to leave something this large sitting around, so I didn't construct it to be permanent.
As is easy as it was to build this box, I wanted to take the opportunity to photograph some of my older minis before I took the box apart for storage.
These figures are my Necromunda gang from years ago. I painted these about the time the Outlanders expansion came out. I'm not sure what year that was, but I think it was '95-'96.
This is one of my favorite minis of all time. The character that I used this model for did pretty well in my recent campaign. 
I'm particularly happy with the way the eyes came out. I wanted it to look like he's looking down the barrel.
I was never a big fan of this model, but the paint job is pretty good.
My favorite Juve. One because I like the model and the other because he did really well in the campaign: Sprint and berserker charge on top of a weapon Skill of 5, nice.Next time, more old stuff.
